Some are dangerous, some are ferocious and some are... odd. One of them called Spike (we don`t know who could have had a pet dragon, almost humans which approched dragons just died) gathers in his nest clocks from all the region. We don`t know for what obscure reason he have this strage behaviour. Maybe clocks makes a sound he likes, maybe he thinks it`s eggs?

Spectacular - We Will Always Rebuild!

Hello all,
Here is my entry for the Spectacular Challenge, folllowing the story are few technical notes.
Don`t hesitate to fire your comments & critics
We will always rebuild!
Even after a giant earthquake which killed millions and destroyed the city, humas rebuilded their town.
On the center of the destroyed city they builded an impressive skyscraper as a monument to show to mother nature that they will always rebuild!
description:
the image shows a city rebuilded on the borders of a fault made by a recent earthquake. On the right stands a huge building builded as a monument on the memeory of the earthquake and to defy nature.
technical info:
Image size: 2832 x 3964 pixels (23,98cm x 33,56cm at 300dpi)
Photoshop full layered file size: 250MB
Polygon count: no idea... maybe around 5millons with only the fault around 700.000 polygons.
Render passes: around 10 with a fault alone, many building blocks, bridge, cars and two for the main big building.
The image tooks me around 17 days of full time work (from concept to final image) of course this was extended to three monthes of the contest period by working a hour or two a day.

Digital World

Hi all,
I wanted to show a character in amounts of digital data. It shows the power of the information and in the same time the chaos which it generates.
Beacause thers a lot of 2d here (multi layered photoshop effects) I first wanted to place this image in the 2d section but in fact the "core" of the image is made in Lightwave so I choosed finally the 3d section.
I hope it`s not a too abstract creation and it fits in this gallery.
Comments and critics are most welcome
Thank you!
I think the glass can be improved a little but I really don`t have the time for it, each render takes years with all those transparency & reflections objects. I need to buy a faster cpu ;-(
Any comments are welcome, I will work on some variations of this subject with maybe some medicine related environment...
